Are you feeling unsure about leaving your house or pets in the care of a person you haven't met before? We understand that this is a valid concern, and Waterline has policies in place for your comfort and safety.
1) We have a zero tolerance policy for misconduct. If any customer provides evidence that one of our listers did something against the wishes of the home owner (for example, threw a party, used the house for illegal activity, or anything else that the customer told them not to do) it will result in an immediate and permanent ban of the lister. This will act as a strong deterrent.
2) Any misconduct will also result in the lister being charged for a full refund, as well as the price of any damages caused.
3) All customers are allowed and recommended to meet the lister they have booked before the actual house sitting event occurs. Usually this is done to show the lister what they are supposed to do while the customer is away, and this is also a chance for the customer to meet the lister and gain a sense of their responsibility.
